Compression test range SP500

Well, with some stinky smelling Hondabond the case is together, the only thing that is a concern is the crank slit nut or spanner that holds the timing gear on, used a brass punch to tap it off,I've got the torque specs but no spanner wrench to fit it,thought about making a tool before deciding to tap it back till it felt good. I think the tool is in the $60 range

You can get the slotted socket or just install the nut the same way you took it off.Hand tighten and use the brass punch to stake it tight,BUT always medium/strong loctite on the threads even though this is a reverse thread nut. It can still back off and the factory never used loctite to begin with. That was the main problem on them backing off in the first place.
