So i have a 2000 polaris xpedition and it runs good at idle until i ride it for 5 minutes and then it idles super high and leaks gas out of the float bowl overflow like the floats are stuck. Ive cleaned it 4 times now ran seafoam through it and still have problems. Any ideas whats wrong? Thanks in advance!!:confused

Cleaning carbs doesn't always work.Install a carb kit as the old needle and seat could possibly be sticking causing the problem. Plus float level could be off. http://www.ebay.com/itm/100-MIKUNI-CARBURETOR-CARB-REBUILD-REPAIR-KIT-FOR-POLARIS-2000-EXPEDITION-425-/291422699046?hash=item43da257e26&vxp=mtr Plus even a worn float pin or float in the area where the pin goes through can wear over the years and bind and stick. Not included in the carb kits if needed. Cheaper to get the whole kit as the oem needle and seat alone is $36 through Cycle Parts Warehouse. 8 bucks more you can have it along with a new float bowl gasket and new jets.PLUS remove the float pin and see if it's worn down.. If it is, order a new one. Hopefully the float arm assy is ok.
