HELP with chain adjustment on 425

What you need to do is; take a tie down strap and compress the rear end till the swing arm and the frame are in line with each other then tighten the chain to 1/4 inch slop on the top,then tighten the bolts down and your done.(NOTE: the chain WILL look really loose that's normal)

Loosen the two bolts on axle. Insert a punch or phillips screwdriver through the sprocket hub from the side and into the axle housing. Roll the atv back slightly to loosen the chain. Forward to tighten. Remember to compress the shock and leave 1/4 inch slack when at tightest point. Tighten the bolts.

thanks for the input, i took it to the dealer and the rear adjustment was "frozen" up. he had to take a pipe wrench and a cheater bar to free it up and the chain was o k, also he did not charge me anything either, it only took 5 minutes but it was raining and he stopped what he was doing to help me.(suzuki,polaris,atric cat of anderson, sc ).even though i offered to pay he declined.
