Good video but the guy put on some large tires by the looks of it 27" or up.
You would have to look at the tire specs but many tires have taller lugs as the dia, goes up.

For example you can only get the Zilla with it's 1.19" lug if you go 26" and up, the 25" Zilla only gets a 0.75" lug.

Something to check into.

The RZR 900 has tons of power.

I like reliability, so I am going to stay 25". Bigger tires usually mean more drivetrain wear. I am happy with stock clutching, don't really want to change it.

What I,m saying is with 25" you may not get as of a aggressive lugs that the video review has. Some do not change however like the Mudlite XL ,the 25" gets the same 1-1/8th" lug as the 28".

On the Zilla I wanted 25" as well but had to step to the 26" minimum if I wanted the 1.19" lug and not the 0.75" lug. It did not matter to much on the Zilla since a 26" Zilla weighs the same as most 25" tires out there so I did not notice any power loss.

Just checked, the 25 8/10 12 & 27 9 14 both have the same 7/8" lug depth. Thats one thing I was looking for, a dee lug compared to what my 489's were.

Then I would just stay with the 25" as well because the video looks like those tires handle pretty well any trail condition thrown at them.

Thanks,. I ride the roads a fair bit too, want a tire that will handle the wear also. I have 3,000 miles on the stock Carlisle 489's. Quite happy they have lasted this long.

I may just get a Interco Swamp Lite with a 1" lug because the sell a 25-11-10 then I do not need a rim change. Interco Swamp Lite.
The Mazzis Zilla are nice because they are the lightest 6ply tire with a aggressive lug but none for 10" rims. I had 26" on my first 350 Grizzly.
One of the guys I ride with has Swamp Lites on his Grizzly 700 and he was talking about getting less aggressive tires. I don't remember what exactly he didn't like about them but I think he wants something he can slide around corners with. I will most likely see him around the 4th of July and will see if he changed them out for something else. They would probably be good for the type of riding you do.

Swamp lites may not be the best but these 10" rear rims sure limit my options. I may bite the bullet and get a set of 12" rims for the rear but I may sell the machine to a person who said he will deal with it.

I'm eye balling a nice condition 550 Grizzly, the 350 racks can't fit my camping gear but its sure is fun and simple.

Got it done. Did not need ratchet straps, nor did anything need to come apart.

After putting right side back together, just took wheel off left side, unbolted strut. It dropped enough to slip out of tower we then swapped the coil out. Did not need straps or spring compressor. Compressed enough by hand to start nut.

An impact gun is required, need the impact to break the nut loose without turning shock cylinder.
