Most important tool you can have in the tool box along with air ratchets and air chisels. They make many jobs easy without having to put up a fight to do it.

Default 03 Sportsman

I have a 2003 Sportsman 600 and did Polaris HD Springs in the front. The front end was way too light and had serious problems steering and going up hills was kinda dangerous actually. When going over bumps it sounds like it is clanking in the front when it hits the upper limits on the shocks I think.

So I changed out the rears to the EPI HD springs. I dialed up the stiffness on the rear and still have the same issue up front. I have read something about adjusting the upper limit on the struts. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

From the factory most cartridges are bottomed out in the strut housing. Some have raise them up an inch or so and this preloads the springs a tad more.Don't know if this is what you mean or not.
