Hey everyone,

I have a '91 Polaris Trail Boss. When I put it into reverse from forward and start moving I hear a clicking sound that sounds like it is coming from the chain area. Also when I put it in forward from reverse and start moving I hear the same sound. If any one could HELP me please do.

Thanks Alot

BS

I had a clicking noise from the chain of my 00Tboss and it was sticking links around and including the master link. I got a new chain under warranty. Someone behind me could see the chain was following the sprocket around and then would snap up when it hit the top when it tried to follow the sprocket back down.

My chain does the same thing if it isnt oiled real well. If I ride in snow where it rubs the oil off it happens real bad.

Mine also was only when it wasn't oiled, it finally was losing the spacers on the inside of the chain, the dealer said it was only a matter of time till it broke.
