New battery location on 570
#21
Battery is sealed so shouldn't be any issues with water. Never had any issues with sticks, etc either. Pretty sure it was put there because of a space issue. Getting to the battery on my 1000 is a total pain- up front above the diff...

Love it so far. Added the GSE exhaust which sounds awesome and lowers exhaust heat quite a bit.
Just finished up a custom hood scoop to get more cool air to the radiator. Mounting it up high was a great idea but with it flat instead of being angled (along with the big shroud up front) the fans run a lot.
Also just ordered (not received or installed yet) the front diff pinion upgrade which is a must on these. Even the dealer said they're putting them on all the new ones before selling since Polaris is apparently not doing anything about it yet (other than replacing the diff under warranty when it grenades...).

Very cool, it's nice to see other Polaris veterans other than myself buying and testing their new products. I think we can bring some balanced opinions to these discussions. If I still had my 08 Sportman 800, I would of love to make it an upgrade project, that machine offered a lot of potential.
I yet to ride my new 570, trip is planned first week of June.
