Check that it's charging at least 14 volts at the battery at an idle. Plus load test the battery to make sure it can accept the charge. If these areas are good, disconnect the battery for 30 seconds and see if flashing is removed from speedo.Plus what's the code/flashing show?

Hi opt.... E checks out when the bike is idleing nothing shows, within a minute of driving the wrench symbol starts flashing and it starts flashing what looks like SEAE, I turned the service interval off, I disconnected the negative on the battery for 30 seconds, as soon as I drive it the wrench and seae starts flashing.Other then that the bike works great.

If the wrench is still flashing I'd recheck to see if you turned the service wrench off. I've never seen this code come up on the older displays. If it was working ok before you installed the updated ignition kit, then I'd recheck the wiring.Entirely possible the speedo picked this point in time to crap out like this also.Several good posts on tearing into one if you have the time, ambition and ability to tackle this if it comes down to it.KA7OEI's blog: Repair of the speedometer on a Polaris Sportsman 500 4-wheeler Plus one from forum member TaterTots.
