Default What? No Rear Working lights on new SP570

I remember when they took this feature away with the evolution of early Sportsmans but the wiring was there and just needed a bulb and switch which could be bought from Quadovator.

I contacted Greg from Quadovator and he told me wiring is different and he has no kits to offer. So BIG Question, what is everyone adding these days for backup/rear light?

Thank you,

R'

Ask your dealer, the camo version of the 570SP has factory rear work lights. I'd bet you could buy the lights and harness for them.

Was surprised to see they don't offer them for the newest version of the X2 either. Unless I missed something.

I had them on a deluxe model Sportsman 500. I thought it was a neat feature but probably only used them once when I was backing up. That's what I have a rear bumper for, in case I do back into something I didn't see. I haven't missed not having the lights ever since but it would be nice if you had the option to buy them.

I can say for unloading at night and adding the automatic reverse option makes it a nice feature. Very useful. My backyard and shed gets dark back there no outside lighting. Again after all these years and improvements surprised that it's not even a tap the line option?

Anyone running 570 our here added rear light option?

Thanks,

R'

I have the plugs for sale and I can build you a simple harness. you will need to add your own switch and taillights.

I added them to my 2013 550.

So I replied to a thread on a different forum about this, but here I see that you DID do this mod to your 550XP... I want to do this to my 2012 850XP, and was looking to see if the diagram you posted there was relevant, and I would also like to know where you got the black plug ends for the utility lights. Instead of aftermarket LED's, I may just get some used replacements with the utility light section from Powersportsnation... Thanks in advance!

check this thread and compare. have to find the resistor pack under the seat near the transmission gear sensor.

I have the plugs listed on ebay. that's all I have left.
