Default LED lightbar wiring?

Considering getting an LED light bar, but wondering how difficult they are to wire?

No plans for a front bumper, will have to fabricate brackets.

I like to know about the new Polaris LED light bar which looks as if it attached somehow to the front Cargo boxes? Expensive though!

I see they have an LED Harness, wonder if they would work with aftermarket lighting?

I got Kawell lights off of Amazon.com. I got the harness separately that was recommended for the light. Had to attach one lead to ground and one to the positive lead coming off the battery. Not too bad. Here are before and after thumbnails of the difference.

You can buy them with the wiring kits/switch and a lot of them have adjustable mounts. With or without the wiring kit they're really easy to hook up.

Thanks guys. I don't have a bumper, no need for one. Thinking I will mount it at the top of the grill below the Polaris emblem.

Ebay usually has really good deals on them. Got the 20" with switch/wiring kit for @ $45 shipped and it's the good cree sealed light. Make sure and check/read the ads thoroughly.

I have decided on a 5" x 5" LED work light. I am looking to mount it in the top of the grill below the Polaris emblem.

Will this be OK? It won't interfere with cooling, will it?

That will block a fair amount of air flow. Either on top of the front or even where the Polaris logo is would be a better option.

You best bet is to search Youtube . They have plenty of good installation videos on LED bars.
