Grizzly vs. Sportsman500
#12
I've been reading alot which is the best. It depends on what you want to do. There is no perfect ride. I've got a sport, scrambler and recently a sp500. If you follow the manual with the maintenance you shouldn't have to many problems. Most of my buddies that I ride with own warrriors, from '88 to '99. Guess what the first thing they do? They drill holes in everything they can to put grease zerts in. Nice way to spend 2-3 days doing. We ride together most of the time and they go through at least one some times two sets of sproctets and chains. Three sets of brakes in a single season. I went through one set of brakes in two years. The warriors are alot of fun to ride, but after 80-90 miles a day I feel relaxed and they can't walk straight up for awhile. For trail riding there isn't in my book a better machine than the polaris.

Muddin?, "make it a better (beast)" those are your words. The stuff I mentioned is some of what I liked more on a Polaris mag. 500 as compared to a grizzly. I think the Grizzly is a wonderful machine(except for the heat), but I thought(as I was about to make the purchase decision) and still think the Mag. 500 is better for me, I liked what it offered that the grizzly did not. Hope that helps.

Hey A_TEAM, that was humor my friend. If you didn't find it funny, my apologies. I sense some deeper issues here. Maybe some anger control would be in order. It's obvious what the "A" in A_TEAM stands for, but I'm not going to stoop to your level.
Have a nice day.
