OPT, hate to sway from the subject but my 01 500 sportsman started creeping and hard shifting from Low gear. Anyways, read a lot of post, replaced the belt, #2 washer and #18. I put it together tonight and seems to still creep in low. Everything looked good on clutch other than a worn #2 brass washer. Any recommendations? Shim out rear pulley? Bike has a little over 300 hours, well taken care of. Thanks

Again seems like the 2001 and 2002 were the worst on creeping problems. Look over these posts from a while back and see if it might help. A lot of it has to do with that soft brass washer and a replacement for it along with aligning the clutches.https://atvconnection.com/forums/pol...-creeping.html

OPT, it's good to go now! First I added two washers, roughly .05", to space out the rear clutch. That took care of the creep, then I realized I forgot to put the spring back in the clutch! Once the spring was back in place, the belt really centered nicely on the clutch. Thanks for your help!
