Guys I know where I can get a 95 Magnum 425 2wd for just 2500 bucks. It only was used during hunting seasions and has less than 500 miles on it. It looks new. I know the guy who owns it so I know it wasnt abused.
Anyway was the 425 a good machine? Any problems I should look for.
Thanks Again

Andy; You need good old Corncobs opinion on this He,s got one with about 200,000 miles on it most of them Rock climbing Seen pictures of the poor thing He loads it like a pack mule then forces it to climb 5 mile high mountains. As for me I owned one really liked it It was a 4x4 like Cobs unfortunatly some creep stole it .

I have a 96 4x4 and I am very happy with it. I would think that it would be a bargain. The 425 has all kinds of power and I think you know about the good suspension. It is the same springs for the 4x2 just less weight.
A dealer told me that there was some kind of problem with the carb on the 95 and 96 and that I should let him rebuild it before I had that problem. He had trouble describing the problem in detail when questioned. I expect he was looking for a sucker. Mine has since started leaking very slowly out the overflow when it sets overnight. I plan to go in the carb and check it out soon. I just turn the gas off. It still starts easily and runs great. If anyone knows about a problem they have, let us both know.

Andy- one more story to help your decision. My father owned a 96 Magnum 2x4, bought it new in 96 and sold it last year to my brother in law. Neither had any problems with it and it still runs great. CT

I just want to make it clear I wasn't the creep that stole Kageys.Bought mine new has been real reliable machine, the main problem with carb. Was the needle they were made of to soft metal and wouldn't hold up.
