Default Polaris Sportsman 450 HO

Anyone out there with the new Polaris 450ho?

How you like it. Have any issues any overheating or hot on the right like the complaints with the 570?

Considering one to replace the wife's Ozark 250 as she wants an auto ATV and 4x4 would be nice. Power on her 250 was more than fine so I'm sure the 450 will be just great.

I just bought one on Saturday. I have very little time on it, but so far I like it a lot. No overheating issues or hot on the right issues, but again it is not even broken in yet. I hope to get it over to the trails this weekend for a full day on it.

Nice looking machine, i bought a 570 eps a couple weeks ago and it rides good. This one shouldn't be too much different. These engines seam to run real smooth.

The 450HO uses the same 567cc engine as the 570, but less hp and gobs of torque. Buy it, because the new 500 uses a smaller engine.

500cc but shows to be 17 pounds lighter and 2 hp more than the 2016 model if these stats are accurate. 2017 Polaris Sportsman® 450 H.O. Velocity Blue ATVs

Its hard to say if the new engine is better or not. I don't even think the 2017 model is even in dealers yet. Its just been announced. They may wait for the 2016's to all be sold before getting the new models in. The 2016 does have the detuned Sportsman 570 engine. I'm sure it can be tuned to get that hp back for a little extra $$$.
