If you take the carb appart(the bottom bowl)
and set it on a flat(level) surface and look at the float "tangs" and make sure they are even with the mounting flange(were the gasket is).
If they "tangs"are even then it is set correctly.
If the carb is overflowing look at the needle and seat(for wear or dirt)
