Default Stator side crank nut socket for 95 400cc motor

Bought a spare crank nut to make my own socket anyone have any good ideas on what to use .

Same size diameter pipe as the nut,a die grinder to notch for the teeth and a welder to weld either a 3/8 or 1/2 socket head. If you plan on doing quite a few engines making the tool may be worth it as a new on is around 45 bucks or so.Depending on my mood I either used the tool or a dull chisel or hammer. Main thing is when you replace a nut always use locktite even though the nut is reverse threads.They can back off. Even old Rick Ritter that works on these 2 strokes for a living said the same thing years ago.https://atvconnection.com/forums/pol...ml#post1241743
