Default Polaris Sportsman 500 Wheel/Strut Seal Replacement

Hello I have been looking everywhere but I can not seem to find an answer to this question. Last time I was riding, the cotter pin holding the castle nut onto the axle broke without me knowing, resulting in the nut spinning off and me wrecking both my inner and outer seals. I have the old ones removed and the areas prepped, but I am not sure which way the seals should be facing when I reinstall them. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Open side of the hub seal(with the spring exposed) faces up. It MUST be pressed in. Don't try to seat it with a hammer and flat piece of steel or you'll damage the seal. The solid side of the strut seal faces inward. Don't drive the seal too far,but have it about 1/8" recessed from flush. Like what the pic shows.
