04 Sportsman 700 gauge cluster appears to have to no power. Blank Screen
04 Sportsman 700 gauge cluster appears to have to no power. Everything else seems to be working fine. It was working fine the last time I ran it. It's sat for about a week. Turned the key on and nothing shows. Starts and runs fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Pull the spedo connector, open the snap cover and check that pins and wiring are ok. Should have 12 volts at all time on the red or orange/white depending on model. The cheap service manual has a spedo no display series of checks and pin tests that can help you either narrow it down to a wiring problem or a problem with in the spedo head itself.Polaris ATV Service Manuals PDF Download You don't say efi or carb, but both are listed.

Possible since you have power into the spedo. Some year models had problems on displays going blank. If you're so inclined you can try what the two posts show.Either that or 250 bucks on a new speedo.http://forums.atvconnection.com/pola...ml#post3232409

Took it apart and found moisture around the inside. I dried it out overnight and then hit it with the hairdryer this morning. Works great now.
