Default No spark

I have a Sportsman 700 twin. The sticker on the front says 2001 . I an not getting spark. Is there a kit for the 2001 model that is available to change out stator, cdi, and coil?

2002 was the first year model, even though the manufacturing date may be earlier on your model. Yes plenty of the #2202602 Kokusan kits that change out the Ducati system entirely as it should be.CHECK prices on the kit as they vary online. One other one out there,RM stator that has one,but uses the Ducati lighting coil for ignition.Cheaper than the Kokusan kit,but if the lighting coil goes out,so does the ignition. Here's a good video on the Kokusan kit.

Your VIN will tell you the year and Im thinking its an '02 cuz I don't think they made a 700 before that. When sitting on the bike it should be on the frame on your left hand side about where the front of the left footwell converts to the wheel well.

Also do you want a service manual? If so send me a message and I'll e-mail you one.
