Well, made some progress. I welded the bracket together, and it turned out good. I also am almost ready to pull the engine. OPT you said the easiest way is to remove the rope start, flywheel, and stator plate before I pull it? I definitely dont want to have to pull out that long set of wires going to the stator. I found a really good set of YouTube videos on a guy who rebuilds this engine and is very detailed on what to do. Really helpful. I found a guy who bores for $60, didn't think that was too bad.
