Battery Light flashing

Default Battery Light flashing

My battery light started flashing it starts when I take off and then stops. it starts and rides perfect what does this mean is it normal? thanks for any feedback.

are you able to check the voltage while the light is on? should be in the mid 13 volt range. are you running any accessories that draw a lot of voltage?

Do you mean check the battery while it's running and the battery should maintain 13.v? I am not running any accessories but i did put in a new ignition could that cause it?

yes while it's running. if you hooked up something wrong maybe

Default Found it

I tested it while it was running the voltage was 16v that told me It was the (voltage regulator rectifier) its on order now thanks for the tip I would have cooked my battery.
