Default 2004 Polaris Ranger hard shifing

Have a 2004 Polaris 2x4. Hard to shift. Clutch belt broke thought that was the cause, but after putting a new belt in still very hard to shift. If you shut off then shift's easly, but when running almost impossible to shift. What could be causing this? Need help.

welcome to the forum. if it's a ebs clutch model chances are the bushing is bad or going bad in the primary clutch. make sure there were no belt parts stuck some where in the clutches. the only other cause sometimes the motor mounts will break/crack causing a mis-line clutch
