Is the radiator xlean both inside and outside? You would be surprised how much gunk gets trapped in the fins on the outside! The stat might be workinf but is it working correctly, new ones are cheap. Last of all, are you running a 50/50 mix of antifreeze? Water has a much lower boiling point than antifreeze!

I plow my radiator out. Gets plugged when riding through weeds. Are in and out hose hot? If not t-stat or pump not working is my guess.

Are you using a 50/50 mix of antifreeze or just plain water? Water boils at 212deg where a 50/50 mix boils at 240plus deg. Big difference there.
