Hey I just realized I posted in introduction page and was not supposed to. I read about black wire for reverse limiter switch that can be disconnected if starting is an issue. Can some one tell me where said wire is and where connection is The switch has two wires either of wehich is not black My story on this quad is in the introduction thread

 

The reverse limiter box is where the black wire is located you need to remove. Not the switch on the handle bars. The switch itself is under the front headlight cover(tucked in behind the oil tank). There are 2 black boxes up there that are bolted together to the frame. The limiter box has a green, yellow/red, white and black wire. Remove the black wire on that box(the other box is the voltage regulator) and it will no longer function. Disclaimer, if you do this and run it in reverse, it will have the capability to go full rpm and can be dangerous.
