WELL fellow 250 TB owners, listen and listen tight (john wayne) the following is a detailed list of mods. that I've installed on my TB. The latest being a pipe from HPD. I test my TB with timed runs on a 100yrd. straightaway, before and after.
1. stock TB------8.??? (lost my sheet)
2. this is going to be odd to alot of you but my first pipe was from a 400 sport. Anyone that may want to know more about that can contact me here. My average time with it was------7.82 sec.
3. Hot seat clutch kit----brown primary, white secondary, w-49 weights their helix 45/40. This is when I could wheelie easy and my average times went to----7.08 sec.
4. 38mm tmx mikuni carb. (very hard to install and MANY adjustments.) Time and patience does prevail !!!!!
1st set of runs with .290 main---7.24 ??? not good !!!
2nd set of runs with .280 main jet---7.12 sec. better but not as good as stock carb. 5. HPD pipe and .270 main jet---6.85 sec.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those times are faster than my brothers 400 sport with a clutch kit and reeds installed.
YEA !! BABY !!

WHEELIES--- you have four choices
1. let off the gas
2. learn how to ride wheelies
3. hang your n--s on the handle bars and keep going.
4. let the thing FLIP OVER.

The HPD pipe was a snap to install BUT!!!
it's getting late and if anyone wants to know anything more, contact me here or e-mail me at twovblue@aol.com
