2003 Scrambler 500 weak spark
#1
So im having this problem with my scrambler 500. i bought the bike non running for a decently cheap price. i had a little bit of spending money so i went ahead and replaced the carb, stator, pickup, cdi box, key and ignition, and the ignition coil. i was sure to gap the pulsar at the right specs. im getting only around 3 to 4 volts to the plug. its pulsing like its supposed to, just very weak. not enough to light the plug up. ive checked the awd switch, and everything that could kill it. i even un hooked the black wire at the CDI to bypass any kill switches. checked all my grounds, im at a stand still. ive also checked all of the resistances from the stator, pickup, coil(etc). they all seem to be in specifications. if anyone has any suggestions it would be highly appreciated. thanks.
