I muonted a pair of bearclaws on stock rear scrambler wheels . The problem is they don't seem to be seating all the way on the rim. KENDA recommends no more than 15psi to seat them. It's like the rim guard on the tire won't go over the rolled edge of the rim even with 40psi of air. Wondering if anyone else has had this promblem? Has the bead popped off on hard cornering?

Funny you should post this. I recenlty went through the same thing with with the ones I mounted on my SP 500. I used alot of diluted dish soap and I believe the highest air psi was around 40-45. When the bead finally seats expect a very loud pop and as hard as they were to get seated I don't see the bead letting go that easy. First ride report on the new tires: (200+ miles in the mountains of E. KY)they performed alot better than stock but not as good as say vampires.

here what you can do:
1.put a lick of gaz in the tire.
2.trow a match in the tire.
3.Your tire should be in the rigth place...

I to tried the old gas trick, instead of gas I used ether. I will admit it did the trick on one of the front tires but the others were not as cooperative. I can't believe I'm gonna say this but here goes "useing a flameable to seat the bead on tires is dangerous" man that was hard, however it will work on most tires.
Truly the easiest was dish detergeant lots of it and around 45psi of air. Rememeber the soap goes between the bead of the tire and the rim.
Good Luck,
Kuntry
