I recently changed my rear wheel bearings on my 2011 Polaris 500 Sportsman. After getting the new bearing in it came time to reassemble and my gear shaft seems to be getting pinched in the bearing housing not letting me line up the bolt at the top of the housing. I tried jacking just the bearing housing in place to get the top bolt through but it is still 1/2 " to 1 1/2" to short from reaching. Could some please tell me why my shaft is getting pinched up in the bearing housing and why I'm coming up short.
