2002 POLARIS 500 ho rear bearing and removal ???
I am in need of a rear bearing number for my 2002 POLARIS 500 ho .When I was replacing the boot on the rear cv I noticed that the bearing assembly had come apart half was on the cv the rest was in the outer rear assembly. If someone could give me a number for the rear bearing it would be great.Would these be the right ones

2002 POLARIS 500 ho rear bearing
I have tapped on the relief in the inner part of the carrier the inner bearing is out already and I have removed the outer clip.If I tap on the relief on the inner part of the carrier will the outer bearing come out also .I'm thinking I should remove the carrier and use some heat to get it out.Could someone help me any info would be good. What method does anyone recomend. In the manual it says to tap on the relief in the inner carrier and the bearing will come out I've tapped on it but I am reluctant to give it a good bang from what I've read a tap is all it should need any info would be appreciated.

i take the hub off, remove large snap ring, lay if face down on a block of wood and use a large socket and drive it thru till it hits the wood, then support it on the edges and continue driving it out. yes it will take several good whacks to get it going. make sure after you remove snap ring clean the groove and all dirt from around bearing before you start. to reinstall, put the new bearing in freezer for a while. heat the housing gently with a propane torch for about 5 minutes then quickly install new bearing.
