SOLVED!!!! Turns out the rev limiter box was grounded out inside. Unhooked all 4 black wires from terminal board and it started right up. Connected one at a time till it died. Checked continuity between black wire on rev limiter box and engine ground and fount it was grounded out. Looking in to the problems of running without rev limiter box?

My advice would be. If it sounds like she is getting wound up and ready to blow back out of it. Or best get a new rev limiter
