This has probably been addressed multiple times, and if so, just point me in the right direction.

I bought this 86 T BOSS a few weeks ago cheap. It was a no fire which I resolved quickly. Now the issue is that I pull and pull and pull to get it started, and sometimes have to give it a shot of carb cleaner into the air box to get the thing started. Once it does, it either won't idle or it revs incredibly hard. What am I missing?

 

Update: Did some more carb work and got it to run semi normal. Still won't idle, but I can feather the gas till I'm ready to go. And boy oh boy, does it ever go!
