Quad stopped going into gear. Replaced starter since old starter stopped working over a year ago. Engine didn’t turn over with new starter but did turn over with kick start. Engine runs but doesn’t go into gear regardless if it’s forward or reverse with new starter installed. Could use some help

When you say won't go, do you mean the shifter won't move or it moves, but the quad doesn't? If the shifter is working correctly, check the belt.
