trans sprocket
#1
I have 2 explorers,both make a cluncking noise
when riding till you spray the chains with lube.
One is 8mo old the other is 11mo old,the dealer gave me new chains to install. While changing them
I noticed the the frt sprockets on both quads where loose. You can wobble them and they have lots of wear on the trans side.Anybody else seen this,it seems to me that they should be tight on
the output shaft like they were new.Any help or sugestions would be great. Thanks

TRUCK,
I AM NOT VERY FAMILIAR WITH YOUR MODEL BUT I HAVE A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT WANT TO LOOK AT. FIRST HAVE YOU TRIED TIGHTING THESE SPROCKETS AND ARE THE TEETH HOOKED MAYBE THEY ARE WORE OUT ALREADY DEPENDING ON WHAT YOU RIDE THROUGH. ARE YOU MISSING ANY CHAIN GUIDES OR WHEELS. MY ZILLA DID THE SAME THING FOR A COUPLE OF TIMES UNTIL I NOTICED THE LOWER ROLLER WAS MISSING AND I REPLACED IT. IF THE BIKE DIDN'T COME WITH AND O-RING CHAIN TRY ONE THEY ARE QUIETIER. WATCH THAT THE KEEPER ON THE SPROCKET IS ON THE SHAFT SPLINES AND NOT OUT OF LINE THIS WILL STOP YOU FROM GETTING THE SPROCKET TIGHT. AS I SAID NOT REAL FAMIALIAR WITH YOUR MODEL BUT THEY SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO WOBBLE BACK AND FORTH.
