Default Need help!!

I have a 1998 Polaris 500 cc and we use it everyday and it has been running good. We just put a new belt on it and it has been working. But today we went to use it and it turns on a runs fine but does not move. We checked the engine oil and it was full, is there anything else I can check or that might be wrong with it? Also was wondering if the transmission runs off the engine oil.

The transmission is separate from the engine. Any noises? New belt is ok?
