Anyone ever thought of putting a Hi/Low range on a scrambler 400 or 500. The 400 engine/tranny looks almost identical to Xplorer 400 with a high low range in it. I wonder if you could switch the transmission. I would love to have a Scrambler 500 with a high/low range. All the advantages of the Sport ut 4 wheelers without the extra weight.

Check out www.bertsdirtworks.com. I think he has pictures of a scrambler with and explorer gearbox, thereby giving it low range.
