Default Heated Grips and Mice

Hello
Upon repairing my gas tank and fuel line leak I removed the dash pod and mice moved in and chewed up some wires, also one screw on switch for heated grips was broken off.
- How do you keep mice out
-Does anyone have a good diagram of wiring for grips. There’s 2 wires that are pigtailed and have power when key is on. I got a new switch that is
on-off-on. just can’t remember where the wires go.

May be different for other makes but heat demons use the middle terminal for power in, and the others for low and high heat, if it doesn't have L and H on the switch it doesn't matter which of those two goes where, if it does, and you get it wrong, swap those outer wires. Not a lot you can do to keep mice out. Some say they hate peppermint smells, but getting rid of them from where you store the bike may be the only answer.
