Default 2011 sportsman 850 eps - need help!!!

Having some issues with my eps and need help please.

bought the quad used with 2800miles on it and original battery. Didnt notice an issue when I test drove it. Got it home and rode once or twice and would feel a kick in the bats and the light come on. Turn machine off and then back on and it was good to go. Only happened once per ride. I read it could be cuz of low voltage draw from battery being old so I got a new one and changed it out. When battery was out I also disconnected the 2 harnesses on eps unit - blew them out with air to remove dirt and dust. Then applied some dielectric greasy and plugged them back in. Thought it was good till first ride. Then boom eps kicked and light back on. Turn machine off and back on but still kept happening. It would even happen right when I start it cold now too. Turn the key and start it and just touch handle bars and it kicks out and eps light on.

so now I’m stuck and need help. I’ve removed all
Panels and front hood and even the fenders to access everything in there. Removed the wire lume and electrical tape and started inspecting wires. Can’t find anything.

I also have found 3 codes on my display

520221- Steering Over Current Shut Down

Current Above Normal Or Grounded Circuit

520224 Steering Torque Full Failure

Condtion Exists

520225 EPAS Inverter Temperature

Data Valid But Above Normal Operational Range - Most Severe
Data Valid But Above Normal Operating Range - Sever

so anyone have any ideas? Or had this happen?
I could definitely use some help.
thanks
