Default Polaris trailer blazer not climbing hills

Default 05 Polaris trailblazer no climbing hillsOver the weekend it was running great for hours. Then I heard a pop and it wouldn’t climb hills. All you hear is a grinding noise. The noise is coming from the right side. Just noticed today that the chain is extremely tight!!! Help!!

I would remove the chain and see if the sprocket or axle turns. That might give you an idea of where to start.

The sprocket teeth are not in the chain properly. Totally different model, but look where the teeth are protruding through the chain. Something is definitely out of line on yours.

Hi. Thanks for the reply.

I took it apart and the sprocket is shot so I’ll be replacing that and the chain the front sprocket has played it. I don’t think that’s normal lol
