I have a 98 trailboss that idles fine, but stalls at the slightest bit of throttle. It ran fine on the last outing but has sat in storage for 4 months. I tried changing the plug but same results. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Make sure you drain the fuel clean out your fuel tank and fuel valve real good and replace the fuel with high test gas.Take the carb off and using some Castrol SuperClean, clean the carb real good and blow through the jets with compressed air, make sure there is no gunk or dirt in them,Also put a couple cap fulls of fresh fuel down the spark plug hole then with no plug and the plug wire pushed well out of the way pull the mahine over about a dozen times then try starting the machine again. When ever you store your machine with fuel in it make sure to add fuel stabelizer to the gas and run the machine for a couple of minits Fuel can go bad and turn to varnish type lookin'stuff that will plug up a carb in a couple months.......hardlydangerous1@yahoo.com
