Went riding yesterday. I got down in some nasty stuff and broke my axel on both sides just where the splines start to go into the hub. Had a hard time getting it out of the woods with no rear wheels moving. Where can i get a better axel for my machine? Where is the best place to look? Thanks for your help.

Did you break the axle or just strip the splines in the hubs? If you stripped the splines the axle just spins and the back wheels just sit there. The hubs are about $25.00 each and take about 30 minutes to swap out. Good luck.

No, the ends of the axels completely broke off inside the hub. There is no splines left on the axel at all. They broke off right before the spline on the ends. So the rear wheels came off of the bike. Then i broke my front cv joints trying to drag myself out with just the front wheels. I have looked and still can't find an aftermarket axel for it. Thanks for your help.

You are in luck!

Dura Blue do a range of axles for Polaris. Concentric drive (chain) models use a Standard Eliminator axle (Part No. 20-1161P) with a lifetime warranty, and you can also get +3" as well (Part No. 20-1161SP).

For shaft drive models 99-01, use a 20-1162P Eliminator. Both will cost you about $369.95. While you are at it, get the Dura Blue hubs (Part No. 20-1350) at $149.51 a pair.

Hope this helps.
