Ok im 16 and i have a 500 scarmbler its a 99. And I plan on racing it this year in hare scrambles. Heres the mods i have so far wiseco high compression piston aaen 42mm carb aaen roller clutch hpd exhuast(The ugliest pipe, but better than the hotseat pipe i used to own)steering dampner Ftr extended swingarm and bumper/brush guard hotseat bars kn air filter ftr nerf bars(sharp looking) also shaved fenders, and after my chain snapped and busted my case i have a 12 tooth front sprocket and a 34 tooth back sprocket for better bottom end because i dont think i will need that for hare scrambles I also have a set of itp wheels and holeshots coming. What else do you think i should do to make it ready i have about 1000 to spend i dont need skid plates either because im making my own.

If anyone wants a picture i will have some in a week or two.

I would get the 4StrokeTech Big Bore Kit. I'm not sure how much it costs though. When you get your pics up tell me so I can come check 'em out. How do you like your FTR Swingarm? How much lighter is it?

I like it alot it looks really good and is probabley the same weight because the stock one is thin and junky. I also like how they power coat it for ya i got yellow. The bad thing about 4 stroke tech is i here nothing but bad from them

Maybe some hand guards and a steering stabilizer. It sounds like your pretty well set up. If it were me I would stick with the motor the way it is now and upgrade the suspension and brakes first. Everyone can go fast on the smooth straights, you need to set up so you can go fast where their slower, the rough and tight stuff.

Also use a couple of layers of screen duct taped to your radiator guard for muddy races and use them like tear-off`s to keep you radiator clean. Seen the Banshee guys doing this so I tried it and it works well. HTH
