Does anyone know how much a rear left fender skirt for a Sportsman 500 or 335 is? My dealer closed early today so I didnt get to find out.

is that for the whole thing or just the black plastic trim? I broke mine (also on the left rear) today. Got hung up on a weird little tree, the black plastic trim broke about 2" up from the floor board

Polaris must have defective left-rear plastic because I hit a tree and broke the fender and the fender extension. Maybe we can get Polaris to issue a recall on this plastic because it is obvious that it has an un-natural attraction to trees!

Let me know how much it is because I'll be replacing it sometime after Christmas.

I did mine too!

Polaris definitely couldn't posiblely let this go by! That plastic is a tree magnet! I broke mine going over a downed tree. Just above the floorboard. My Dealer paniced when they gave it back to me last week. He said your plastic is broken, but I don't think we did it. They ususally look for all defects when the quad comes in and I guess they missed this break. I told I did before and he was very happy and glad I was honest.

Glenn.

Yep, I split that sucker up about three inches from the bottom when I was climbing a hill and a root made me lose traction and threw me into a tree. It raised my blood pressure a little. Boner, is it really $99 just for the fender skirt?

i am talking about the addon Mud Skirts not the fender flares that come standard on every Sportsman. I got that price from Polaris's accessories guide.

Bushhog,

I checked with the local dealer yesterday and the new plastic for a 2000 Magnum 325 4x4 was: ~$85 for the rear fenders and ~$18 for the fender flare.

Much less expensive than most Japanese ATVs.
