Well you onyl own a Sp500 not the Magnum the Magnum is a close contender i know im not putting down your machine i know it is great but i am worried about teh trailer hitch teh trailer bounces a round and bottoming out the shox and take in to consideration that i pull more than 1225 pounds

does the magnum still have a good rride?

I would say that the Sportsman rides the best, with the Explorer up next then the Magnum.

well the only reason i dont like teh SP500 is because the hitch weight gets put on the suspension due to the IRS apposed to the rear whels it bounces the trailer and bottoms teh shox out

If your shocks are bottoming out, just increase the preload on the rear springs.

Read the instruction manual, then you can set the machine to work for you, not you working for the machine.

well even on the stiffest setting they can bottom out due to extremely heavy loads

Have to agree the Xplorer 400 rides better than the Magnum, I have driven both. I have not however driven a Sportsman.

I also have to agree with xepathfinder and Boner, the Xplorer does ride better than the Magnum. Like Boner said, better suspension travel. Due the fact that the Magnum has 6.5 inches of suspenion travel compared to the Xplorer's 9 inches. Makes a world of difference.
