Why are Polaris ATV's so heavy ???

Tree Farmer, I am well aware of the advantages and dis-advantages of aluminum.
No to de-name you in any way. But I work with aluminum everyday at my job. You had no way of knowing this. I just didn't want too go on for days about the properties of this material because I would bore everyone to death. I just wanted to share my opinion.

Right now I am in the process of designing and making an aluminum frame for my friends 99' Honda Recon. How will it turn out? Only time will tell. But one things for sure. If it does turn out, this little rocket will give a 300EX a run for it's money.
