Polaris Racer

Mudman, I watched Tim win the Eagle River championship, on his formula III Yamaha back in '89. Yes I've heard of Bender racing. Your statement was "and in the grass races that i run around here i race pro 800 and pro 1000 i alwats seem to beat them thundercats and piped/ported mach zs with my stock 800 ". I simply asked you if you ever beat Desilva or Bickford, who both race Mach Z's in the classes you mentioned. I know they race where you say you do. As far as Delorenzo, he had an awsome season, congradulations to him. Funny thing though, he's the only guy getting the Polaris's to run consistantly. Kinda makes you wonder. As I said polaris has made gains in performance this year, about time considering how many races they have won in the last 5yrs. I could count them on one hand. Bender should have stayed on the Ice ovals, because he sure hasn't kicked anyone's a@@ in the grass. Later Bob.

bob i didnt mean to sound like a jurk if i did im sorry. i did race them both once and placed 1st and 3rd against bickford and second to disilva. i dont race for bender but i know most oif the guys who work for them. theyu would have been to old forge but they blew their stock 700 motor up on the dyno . it all depends on who is runnin for them. the swede he used to dominate on his yamahas. alot of yamahas racers have partial bender racin sponsorship. none of them have a "full blown sponsorship" though so benders dont get alot of word of mouth because of that. polaris hasnt been very successful in the past couple of years and alot of that has to do with their drivers. this year snowcross wise it is the sled and not the driver however.
