I use it to crawl through the swamp in tight conditions with mud and logs. I also use it to pull and up very steep hills.

 

if you have EBS you can use low to go down steep hills.gives you more engine braking.i have added EBS to my 400 xplorer and would not be without because we ride a lot of steep pipelines.
