Andrew, how dare you make fun of Blasters and the type of people that ride them. Do you have a problem with midgets? My aunt karent is a midget. Yea, you think its real funny don't you? Just because I used to have a Blaster, I guess im a crap rider that grinds through the SIX gears. I respected you and your posts hightly, but now, lets just say CRAP

Design,
I've already replied to your e-mail but I didn't say this. I did not make fun of midgets. I said Blasters are made for them. If I said tall people fit Polaris's better, Am I making fun of tall people? Not at all. I'm just saying.
I've rode Blasters. They are fun. But you can't go around riding a Blaster issuing races to obviously faster quads when you know the race won't take place because (I) am not going to "waste my time" driving across the country for 10 seconds or so of riding time. The guy is a punk and I would guess an embarrasement to anyone who rides a Blaster.

How can anyone even mention a Blaster in the Polaris forum. They're a little kids machine for beginners to take joyrides on, they have a 45 mph top speed so they don't hurt themselves. Once you have mastered them and start to fill out after puberty, you can move up to a real machine. One with electric start, full size frame, and reverse. You can add racks or a hitch as needed. Polaris atv's have enough weight that you can do a little work around the farm after your joyride. All Polaris' can grow with your needs as you become an adult, sadly the Blaster remains a childs machine forever.

After riding a Blaster for the first time about a month ago, I concluded that they are for physically small humans.
MY knees were in the way, and I felt like I was riding a child's toy. The Blazer is a full size larger, so small humans may prefer the littler Blaster, while larger humans would be better off with the Blazer.
You can ride a machine faster if it fits you.

First, their is a reason that Yamaha is one of the biggest sellers of atv, motorcycles, etc... Polaris is a pile of s... , never seen a good one yet, never will either! They don't build race machines because they are only a sport utility quad, DA! As for they can only hold a 4'8" kid! I,m 5'8" 160lb. and don't feel at all cramped on my 99 blaster (not a blazer). I also drive tandom trucks too, big deal! does that make you more of a man or a old man maybe. Don't pick on the blaster, their is a reason for their cont. production, they work!

Keithb, who died and made you king in here, this forum about the blaster and the trailblazer! Polaris250, you should think about getting a spell ckeck for your computer. You need it. Polaris models are for BIGGER people. That must be who Andrew is. The brakes on the blaster are kinda weak, but they work well if you keep them maint., they are a all around good atv, I ride every weekend and most of the atvs I see are yamaha or honda. Some of the factors in racing are the rider too. But the 6 speed is the best on the track and the woods, automatic atvs are dogs, just like cars, their is a reason for the 6 speed on them. Oh and don't let me forget to say (WOW....).Lets not argue about who's faster than who, but state the facts. If need be, we can tack a toll on it, but I would bet that the blaster would come out on top!

You don't know much about CVT trannys.
Put a CVT tranny on a Blaster that is just like yours & it will beat your 6 speed one.
auto ATV's & auto cars are 2 different things. Comparing a Blaster to a TB is like comparing a Neon Sport to a Grand Am SE. Both are nice cars, but with one (Grand AM)you get a heck of a lot more, like with the TB.
Don't forget it was just a year ago before the 400EX came out that the Polaris Sport was the 2nd fastest ATV made behind only the Banshee. So there goes the argument autos aren't fast. In fact I'd put the Sport/Scrambler 2X4 up against the 400Ex today. They are close enough either could win. As far as why I say I can drive whatever it's because I bought an auto ATV because I wanted one, not because I can't shift. I didn't come in here & say you bought a 5/6 speed quad because you are ignorant to the obvious benefits of a CVT tranny. I just said you don't know how it functions is all. If you like a small quad with no extras like the Blaster that is fine. My point is that the TB is more for the money. Then some child implys autos are for people that can't shift. Statements like that are for people that can't think. If Polaris wanted to make a racer they would. In fact I hope they make one with an auto. I would love to see all these manly, tough gotta have a 5/6 speed guys lining up to buy the fastest (albiet auto) quad made.

Hey guys wake up! There are many quads in that are made. Those quads have many different purposes, take for example the blaster, the blaster is a very unique machine. It DOES fit the smaller riders, but yet it WILL take in a race polaris250. yet it wont take it on the trails. many quads for many reasons, it is that simple.
