Yes it does look pretty good. Polaris will have a counter attack though. That's the good thing about the ATV Market now a days. Plenty of things to choose from.

I just love how all these other brands that have bashed Polaris are starting to copy everything Polaris already has. All that will be left in the race now is who can put the most CC's in one of these things. I have not heard any mention of the new Bombardier Quest 650 on here. That thing weighs 760 lbs, thats rite off of the Bom web site. I do agree all this competition is going to turn out some super atv's in the end. I just hope that we will still be able to afford them.

"TROUBLE"? No way Thor, it just raises the bar for Polaris.

Nope, sold my two Scrambler 500 4x4's and bought two Bombardier DS650's. Untill you ride a DS650, you don't know what fast is. Left my Scrambler 500's in the dust. No comparision !!!

dehenricks,
I agree. I came to the point where I wanted to go faster. I could continue to mod the Scrambler & hope to be close to a DS or Raptor. Or I could just go buy a DS and be fast stock, have awesome suspension & from what I hear pretty reliable. Polaris isn't bringing anything to the table in the sport quad market.
I do think it's funny though how the 'ute quads all copy Polaris's formula.

Polaris will need to do more than just stuff a larger engine in the current frame, right now if I was going to reaplce my Sportsman I would get the Grizz 660 without a question. 2 wheel drive switchable to limited or lockable 4x4, sweet to say the least. 660 liquid sweet. same retail as a HO 500. Polaris better get off there butts or eve nthe die hards like myself will have no choice , I am loyal but when spending money I get the best value for my dollar. That comes first.

Hey I'm very loyal,,, to ME! I think the new Grizz is hot! and if I were still looking at utilities I would buy it in a heartbeat...but,,
My DS is King, especially the way I have it set up. I am not going back to sub-sonic, no matter how great these new utilities are. I am reccommending to several friends that they get the new GRIZZLY. It is the new king ute, even if they did use some of Polaris ideas, they went beyond, like a Real Motor and locking front diff. The worst part of the SP is the lame-o Fugi 500, and all that extra weight.
But I am even more impressed by the new Raptor 80. I have a four year old that is going to love it. My 12 year old (which is how old Raptor 80 riders are supposed to be) rides his 660 Raptor as well as any body around here. He can ride around in 1st gear for a while...

Yeah, I agree. Polaris has better get off their as....teroids if they expect to beat this.

One thing I did notice. No sway bar on the back end. I wonder how well it will work at speed during cornering?

fourlix,

Hey, who would have thought to style a kids machine after their bigger machines. (maybe Polaris) It's about time that someone else got on the band wagon. I agree, it looks sharp!
