<< The only thing we can count on is the new Sportsman is going to weigh 697 pounds! That is too much weight to give up to a lighter machine. We also have to wait and see what the new Artic-Cats are going to have.
697 pounds! Not even legal in Wisconsin!
I'm still going to wait until fall to see how they all compare. Too bad for kawasaki they had a very short run at the top. >>
600 or 700 pounds there both pigs and will not be thrown around like a sports bike either way.If you put a big enough motor in a utility quad what does it care how much it weighs. If I had to chose between jumping a 700lb SP or a much lighter 400 Foreman I would jump with the SP cause the landing will feel alot lighter thats for sure.
P.S that Winsconins problem.

P.S. that's Winsconins problem ???
Chuckle, chuckle, smile
Who in their right mind wouldn't prefer the ride of a Sportsman to that of a Foreman 400? (and to think I almost bought one of those beasts when they were first introduced/hyped)
But I digress. The issue here is not the reliability of the Sportsman nor the question of it's above average, comfortable ride. As one poster said. If you can't ride it for more than 2 hours what good is it?
What we are talking about is a new and improved Yamaha Grizzly with a refined lighter chassis and more horsepower.
If it is indeed as comfortable as a Sportsman 500 and offers the same acceleration I can see some Polaris people heading off into the land of the rising sun.
BTW, give it a rest 99Grizz. The only thing that made sense in your last post was your comments on snowmobiles.

Victory,
I'll be riding my overweight, unreliable, underpowered Sportsman (LOL) in your neck of the woods during the 4th of July weekend. Would you like to ride with us? There will be about 12 atv connection people with us. Let me know.
