Does anyone have any info on the 400s top end? The mech. at the dealer told that if broken properly it should run 65mph. this sounds a little faster than I would have guessed.Does anyone know for sure?

sounds close.my speedo only goes to 60 m.p.h.takes a few seconds to start down when I let off the gas.

my 99' Scram 400 hit 59 mph stock, 64 mph with pipe and porting. Haven't gone to a bigger carb yet... These speeds are taken with a radar gun, speedometers aren't very accurate...

A Explorer Goes under 60. I have seen a 300EX and a explorer race, the 300EX beat him on top end and the EX only goes 58mph(modestly). The dealer must have been in the nose candy way to much.
